Procurement Specialist

Gardner Denver/Ingersoll Rand, a leading manufacturer of compressors and blowers, has an immediate opening for a Procurement Specialist at our Sedalia, MO facility.  Essential functions of this position include:  Purchasing functions related to a specific area, negotiating prices with vendors, analyzing supplier trends & resolving supplier issues.

Experience/Education required include:

• Purchasing, negotiating and analytical skills.
• Ability to effectively develop good working relationships with all levels within the organization as well as suppliers, and customers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & detail oriented.

Experience/Education preferred include:

•  Bachelor’s degree in management, business or related.
• Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
