Job Summary

Production Planner is responsible for material planning, material delivery and production plan to ensure on-time materials availability for efficient operations.  He/she also requires to achieve productivity through procurement of materials, inventory techniques and adopting good quality management practices. 

 

The ideal candidate requires to have strong analytical skills, detail oriented, and  experienced in supply chain includes the management of purchase orders and suppliers for prompt fulfilment of orders with the correct item in the most possible efficient manner. 

 

He/she has the capability to develop materials plan to fulfil customer orders on time at optimal costs, set key performance metric to measure forecast accuracy.

 

 

Responsibilities

  1. Handle daily material requirement planning and plan material for production line and maintain material plan at the time fence to ensure continuity of supply.
  2. Ensure compliance to purchasing processes and procedures.
  3. Initiates sourcing (e.g. RFPs and RFQs)
  4. Work orders are issued In Oracle and Production, and Procurement requirements are generated in collaboration with ME.
  5. Based on the standard working hours and available working hours of the products, arrange daily production according to the rhythm, and summarize, track and correct the daily production progress
  6. Maintain timely communication with Vendors, facilitate material delivery, and arrange production reasonably
  7. For the newly added materials, it is necessary to follow the relevant procedures and cooperate with departments such as sourcing to carry out the processes and make Settings in the system
  8. Other job assigned by supervisor or management.

 

 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma with at least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, Powerpoint.
  • Oracle experience is a plus.
