To provide excellent customer service by servicing, installing and commissioning SEEPEX products and associated equipment in the UK and Ireland. To raise awareness and promote SEEPEX services and products to existing customers, and potential customers, during visits to sites.  To always promote the company in a professional and positive manner.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  1. To service /install /commission SEEPEX products and associated equipment either at our workshop or on site.
  2. To accurately record details of all service installation, commissioning activites.
  3. To fault find pump installations and evaluate the performance which could include our digital products and make recommendations/feedback to other departments/customers.
  4. To liaise with other departments to report on service, installation, commissioning and training activities.
  5. To comply and adhere with all applicable work instructions, health, safety and environmental procedures.
  6. Whilst visiting sites identify and exploit new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  7. To train colleagues or customer representatives on the operation and maintenance of our range of products.
  8. To ensure safe isolation of SEEPEX electrical equipment as per agreed lock off/tag on procedure.  
  9. To uphold quality levels both externally on site and internally within the workshop.

 

 

 

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

 

Must have:

Qualification to apprenticeship level in mechanical or electrical engineering

Be able to work away from home during the working week

Driving license

Knowledge of safe isolation

Good time management skills

Good IT and report writing skills

Good customer service skills

Good team player and communicator

Flexible and ability to prioritise

Ability to work to deadlines

 

Nice to have:

Experience of servicing/installing/commissioning pumps

Knowledge of the waste water industry

Compiling and working to Risk Assessments and Method Statements

CSCS Card

Knowledge of confined space working
