Job Summary

Proposals engineer for custom-made air compressor, dryer and nitrogen generation packages mostly focused in O&G market

Responsibilities

• Preparation of technical and commercial proposals for compressed air and nitrogen generation systems for engineering projects, mainly in O&G sector
• Analysis and evaluation of client technical specifications to develop tailored solutions and preliminary system designs.
• Selection and sizing of equipment from product portfolio, ensuring full compliance with technical and operational requirements.
• Coordination with subcontractors and suppliers to complete the integrated technical solution included in the proposal.
• Preparation of cost estimations and development of pricing structures for commercial offers.
• Development of technical and quality documentation required as part of the proposal package.
• Provision of technical support during clarification phases and bid evaluation (tabulation process).
• Direct interaction with Ingersoll Rand factories and engineering support teams, suppliers (both during the bidding stage and project execution), and end customers.
• Handover and coordination with execution teams upon project award, ensuring continuity and full understanding of the proposed solution throughout the engineering and implementation phases.

Basic Qualifications

• Preferably some type of technical education, either intermediate or higher level (preferably in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical, or Electrical).
• Languages: English level C1 or higher. Italian highly appreciated. 
• Additional languages valued: French or German.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with databases and CRM software (SalesForce).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Availability for international travel (estimated 25% of the time).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• High degree of autonomy, while also capable of working in multidisciplinary teams.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

• Fully site-based at Gorle, (BG).
• Occasional availability to travel if necessary is required.
