Job Summary
We are looking for Procurement Specialist, for specific an MRP Analyst & Materials Planner
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor material requirements through the MRP system.
- Analyze demand generated by production plans, forecasts, and customer orders.
- Generate and manage purchase and production proposals.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support manufacturing operations.
- Maintain and optimize MRP parameters, including lead times, minimum order quantities, safety stocks, and reorder points.
- Verify the accuracy and integrity of master data, bills of materials (BOMs), and planning parameters.
- Analyze inventory levels, stock coverage, inventory turnover, and obsolete materials.
- Identify potential supply risks and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor planning deviations and support root cause analysis.
- Contribute to demand forecasting and inventory planning activities.
- Manage material shortages and supply disruptions.
- Develop recovery plans in collaboration with Purchasing and Production teams.
- Support supplier expediting activities for critical materials and components.
- Monitor and analyze Supply Chain performance indicators.
- Participate in projects aimed at improving planning, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of MRP/MRP II planning methodologies.
- Understanding of manufacturing and metalworking processes.
- Ability to interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routings.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or similar).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain and Operations KPIs.Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
