Job Summary:
The CTO Robuschi division focuses on designing and developing machines tailored to project specifications, while overseeing their execution through effective project management. These systems primarily include lobe blowers, screw compressors, and centrifugal pumps, often assembled on a base frame and enhanced with special configurations and customizable options to meet specific requirements.
The products are mainly intended for the EMEAI market, with a strong emphasis on delivering solutions that align with customer requirements and project specifications, prioritizing reliability and quality as key parameters.
This role requires in-depth knowledge of rotary machines, advanced technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, multi-location, and multicultural teams to ensure high-quality project execution adhering to industry standards. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to Project Managers and Sales Managers by defining product characteristics based on project specifications.
- Assess the technical feasibility and main product features up to the release of the economic offer.
- Develop and validate designs for new products or improvements to existing ones, including the preparation of detailed designs and Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure accurate and comprehensive specifications.
- Prepare technical documentation and specifications in line with international standards and regulations (e.g., CE/Machinery Directive, PED, ATEX), including risk assessments and the creation of a complete technical dossier.
- Collaborate with suppliers to define the scope of supply and ensure component certification, as well as validation of new product options.
- Create concise instructions and/or manuals for internal colleagues and/or customers.
- Draft project technical documentation within the required timelines.
- Contribute to the creation and verification of appendices for the product’s user and maintenance manuals.
- Support the production team during installation and testing phases.
- Promote knowledge sharing within the Engineering team by organizing and conducting training sessions.
Basic Qualifications and Key Competencies:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least five years of experience in a similar role within a structured environment.
- Expertise in designing and assembling skid-mounted systems, ensuring functionality, compliance, and alignment with project requirements.
- Excellent proficiency with technical software, preferably AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Familiarity with PDM/PLM management systems, preferably Windchill.
- Strong technical skills, including mathematical modeling of mechanical and thermodynamic systems, FEA/CFD analysis, mechanical drawings, data analysis, and report preparation.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional teamwork skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Goal-oriented and proactive approach to work.
- Solid knowledge of calculation tools and spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with support information systems, preferably SAP.
- Experience with FEM simulation tools is a plus
