We are a sales and service office for Ingersoll Rand Industrial Ireland based in Arlandastad, Sweden. Our focus is to maintain and grow our sales and service businesses within the compressed air industry. Our portfolio includes Ingersoll Rand OEM compressors, air treatment and services.

 

Job Summary

 

Distributor Manager is responsible for driving partnership and business growth with distributors in the designated geography.

 

Job scope includes managing distributor performance to achieve annual sales targets
developing trust and strong partnership with distributor to ensure sustainable long term growth, executing the channel strategy with the support of Distribution Sales Leader & Channel Development team.

 

This role plays a vital role in developing profitable business with new and existing distributors. Aiming at meeting and / or exceeding sales targets.

 

Responsible for retaining long-term relationships with distributors. Works with the Commercial leader and Distribution Manager to establish long-term plans.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Deploy standard work, Distributor Management Process (DMP) for distributors.
  • Define distributor strategy aligned with IR priorities (market potential, verticals, org
  • Monitor local market trends and competitive channel activity. 
  • Develop full awareness of IR products, offerings and processes
  • Identify and communicate internally the voice of customer and market developments
  • Develop lasting service relationships with existing and new distributors

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong team player
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written. Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian is a requirement
  • Driving licence (B)
  • Computer skills (proficiency in Office365, SFA or similar CRM system)
  • Education in technical sales (or equal work experience min. 3 years)
  • Knowledge within compressed air or the willingness to adopt the knowledge swiftly.  

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

  • Comfortable with travel including overnight stays.
  • You will belong to our office in Arlandastad but have a hybrid workplace somewhere in the Nordics (Sweden, Denmark or Norway).
