DOSATRON is an innovative French company founded in 1974 and based in Tresses, near Bordeaux. The company designs, manufactures and markets proportional metering pumps that operate without electricity.

Thanks to a unique hydraulic principle, its solutions enable the precise dosing of liquid products (disinfectants, cleaners, additives, fertilizers, etc.) directly into water, without the need for electricity.

Recognized for its reliability, robustness and ease of use, DOSATRON technology is used in over 100 countries in a wide variety of sectors: water treatment, industrial hygiene, food processing, horticulture, and more generally wherever control of water and dosing is strategic.

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager M/F is responsible for promoting our metering pump system, by developing and leading a network of distributors, installers and professional customers on the ground in the West African region.

He/she identifies new business opportunities and actively monitors markets and business trends.

At the crossroads of projects, end-users, institutional customers and distributors, but also a key interface within the company between the technical, marketing and sales departments, teamwork is essential to the success of this position.

Position reporting to the Sales Department (no hierarchical management).

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a network of local partners: distributors, installers, NGOs, design offices, local authorities, etc.
  • Identify and follow up commercial opportunities, in particular through public and private tenders.
  • Carry out technical demonstrations in the field, train users and provide operational and technical support.
  • Participate in trade shows, run training courses or technical demonstrations
  • Keep an active watch on markets, regulations, trends and key players
  • Ensure regular reporting

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Graduate of a business school, you have at least 5 years' significant experience in international business development, ideally in West Africa. Technical profile required.
  • Experience in water treatment, dosing systems or industrial hygiene would be a plus.
  • Significant field experience (5 years minimum) in water treatment, hydraulics or dosing systems.
  • You are recognized for your autonomy, rigor, initiative and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You particularly enjoy working in an international, multidisciplinary environment.
  • You have a perfect command of professional English to interact with international customers and suppliers.

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Position based in Tresses (33) or West Africa (location to be defined)

This is a field position with frequent travel (at least 50 to 60% of the time).
