For our Compressed Air Solution Business, we are looking for a Leader of Airmax Groupe to be located at our premises in Bourges (18), France.
Job Summary
- The Airmax Leader (m/f) will be responsible to achieve maximum profitable growth and sales objectives (volume, Net Sales, and Gross Margin) for the Compressors Business in line with Ingersoll Rand’s vision, strategic objectives and policies in the geographic area assigned
- Reporting to the Commercial Leader France will develop and implement strategy for the region, looking for growth and margin expansion.
- You are fully accountable for the sales of compressed air solutions, including equipment as well as services, within his geographic region
- You are responsible to identify new sales opportunities, commercialize new products and develop sales into new applications
- The Airmax Leader understands the market and key players active in the region and builds the necessary market intelligence to retain and extend the Customer portfolio.
- He is responsible for all operations for products within the scope of responsibility including sales, purchasing and logistics, quality and engineering.
- The Airmax leader will have to anticipate market trends and adapt back-office services to support growth. In conjunction with the After-Sales Service Manager, he deploys strategies to satisfy and retain customers in the back-office.
- The Airmax Leader coordinates execution within each department, supervises managers to build an efficient team and establish a good working atmosphere
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a technical and commercial skilled sales team of Oil Free Account Managers and Area Sales Managers to achieve the sales and margin.
- Visit together with his sales team, key customers and distributors, find and develop new opportunities to increase our market share in our key strategic vertical markets.
- Develop an understanding of the products and services and the different applications for industrial markets.
- Cooperate with marketing team to develop an effective brand external communication and awareness, to generate new leads and opportunities.
- Support the Sales team on complex bids preparation on commercial
- Effectively manage the sales team activity using Salesforce CRM, including review of pipeline of opportunities, produce accurate forecasts, keep track of visits, and actively manage installed base of compressors and downstream equipment installed in the region to maximize the aftermarket business and ensure the highest customer satisfaction.
- Develop a thorough grasp of the market, including customer needs, competitors, trends, impact of local legislation
- Provide accurate forecast on a regular basis to the higher management.
- Supervise and coordinates the sales and back-office teams to ensure effective collaboration. Also, he facilitates communication between departments to ensure connivance, smooth functioning between departments and the consistency of information and processes, to guarantee the group process.
- He is responsible for making weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports according to the Group's requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Equivalent in Engineering, Economics, Sales, or other relevant fields
- Having experience in compressed air and in the processes of an international group would be a strong asset.
- Must have at least 5 years of professional experience with management responsibilities, having exercised it successfully in industrial companies, preferably with membership in an international group.
- Must be used to reporting company information and data to the top company representatives and must have been a member of steering committees.
- In use of leading top-level negotiations.
- Interest in digitization, IIoT, complex organizational structures
- French native and fluent in English, speaking and writing.
