Job Summary:

The Seepex France Sales and Service Manager is responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy of SEEPEX France and managing the field sales team, the after-sales service team and the pump project team towards achieving this objective.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of sales, turnover, margin and results of the team. Reporting to the EMEA Sales Director they will work in close collaboration with the administrative and financial manager.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Definition and deployment of the commercial strategy

- Agreeing and allocating the budget in collaboration with the finance manager and the EMEA sales director.

- Defining the commercial action plan by targeting customers and prospects to be developed in high-potential markets based on growth opportunities. Setting commercial objectives by market and geographic area.

- Aligning and developing the Seepex France Commercial strategy with the overall Seepex Business Plan.

- The Sales & Service Manager works in collaboration with the marketing department to promote the company's image and develop demand generation. Including mailing campaigns, webinars, local trade events and important trade fairs.

 

2. Team management and supervision

- Responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy with field salespeople, the after-sales service manager and the pump service manager

- Responsible for evaluating and reporting on the individual performance of each member of the France team through regular individual meetings. Managing weekly joint meetings (IDM) where the main performance indicators and action plans are reviewed.

- Responsible for managing the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and team events with the objective to maintain and enhance team working and effectiveness.

- Responsible for performance management, merit planning, staff remuneration and career development in collaboration with Seepex senior management and human resources.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Language requirements = Fluent French and English.
  • Full Clean Driving Licence.
  • Technical Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and/or in business or sales related disciplines.

 

Key Competencies:

  • Proven experience in sales management, leadership and development and execution of commercial sales strategy is essential.
  • Highly customer oriented with experience in customer relationship management, contract negotiations and business development.
  • Results oriented with the ability to develop, communicate and execute commercial strategy.
  • Highly self motivated with the ability to motivate others and develop team working in a high performance team.
  • Experience of the Environmental, Water & Wastewater and Industrial markets in France.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to effectively interact in all areas of our own business and in our customers is essential. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills is essential.
