Job Summary

The Plant Controller will be esponsible for variety of financial tasks for entity as well as business unit.

 

Reports/Analysis: Develops and reports plant performance through performance reporting, absorption models and cost analysis.Projects, analyses, and reports all activities that financially impact the plant.

Budgets: Develops, analyses, and presents budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to management. Net working capital provides “gate keeper” function to operations in inventory management, support commercial team with AR improvement initiatives. Reviews annual physical inventory count and reconciliations. Reports results to management.

Miscellaneous Projects: Participation and leadership in various entity or business unit driven project, provides support in ad hoc tasks and analysis.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day to day operations activity from their financial impacts.
  • Actively participate in meetings with other departments, being able to advise, but also challenge on status quo.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting process. Gather feedback from different sources and understand overall output.
  • Identify and seek for mitigation of risks.
  • Analysis of main production KPIs during weekly reviews – inventory, productivity, cost, absorption, safety, productive hours, quality
  • Provide cooperation during statutory/tax reviews and audits Provide local support during month end closing (performed by shared service) and perform reconciliation after month end.
  • Act ask key stakeholder for investment/footpring/productivity projects.
  • Control and oversee annual tasks – e.g. standard cost roll, statutory report, tax package etc

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business or other required.
  • Must have 5+ years’ experience in finance in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Conversational English & Italian languages

 

Key Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, ERP knowledge, financial consolidation tool knowledge an advantage
