Web Data Analyst (Digital Marketing Focus)
Location: Madrid, Spain (Remote – Full Time)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Web Data Analyst to join our Customer Data Analytics team. This role is pivotal in enabling our Marketing Managers and Business Unit Directors to understand user behavior across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for extracting, cleaning, and connecting data from various sources into Snowflake, integrating it with Qlik, and building insightful dashboards. A strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and KPIs is essential to translate data into actionable insights.
Additionally, they will lead regular training sessions to empower teams to interpret and leverage data effectively. This position is part of a global team, working with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds; bi-directional flexibility with schedules and respect for different working styles is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, clean, and integrate web analytics data into Snowflake.
- Build and maintain dashboards in Qlik for marketing and business analysis.
- Connect and transform data from tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, BigQuery, Snowflake, and Qlik.
- Collaborate with other data professionals to ensure seamless integration of CRM data and additional data sources into Snowflake and Qlik to build a full-funnel view.
- Solve analytics-related requests submitted via JIRA, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Conduct 1–2 weekly training sessions to guide teams in using dashboards and interpreting data.
- Communicate regularly with Business Unit Directors and other key stakeholders, providing clear insights and recommendations.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across platforms.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, balancing autonomy with team collaboration.
- Travel occasionally for team meetings, workshops, or stakeholder engagements.
- Engage with the BIDA (Business Intelligence & Data Analytics) team to expand and grow your data knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, BigQuery, Snowflake, and Qlik (knowledge of CRM systems is a plus).
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality principles and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation.
- Familiarity with TAMR or other Master Data Management tools is a strong plus.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Solid grasp of digital marketing principles, KPIs, and funnel analysis.
- Familiarity with JIRA for managing and tracking analytics requests.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Strong team player with the ability to follow direction and adapt quickly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Respectful of cultural diversity and flexible with global team schedules.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as part of the role.
