Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Permanent full-time-position

 

Gardner Denver Thomas GmbH is part of the Precision and Science Technologies Unit of the global Ingersoll Rand conglomerate. It develops and manufactures pumps, compressors, and systems for international customers in the OEM business. Distribution is handled through the global sales organization. The products can be found in medical, automotive, and environmental technologies, as well as anywhere gases and liquids need to be transported.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Planning, coordinating, and executing new development projects
  • Concept development and performing detailed designs using 3D CAD
  • Creating tolerance analyses / tolerance syntheses
  • Performing the necessary design calculations
  • Coordinating prototype construction, initial sampling, and verification tests
  • Performing prototype tests tests

 

Qualifications:            

  • Completed technical degree (mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering)
  • Extensive experience in the field of gas and liquid pumps or small motors
  • Experience in plastic injection molding and DC & BLDC motor design
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills
  • Independent, committed, and meticulous work approach
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken
  • High awareness of quality and ability to work in a team team
