Job Summary

We are offering an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced Field Service Technician in our Gepps Cross branch.  You must be technically qualified with experience in an industrial environment, preferably worked in a similar role.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Install, repair and maintain the range of compressed air, blower and vacuum equipment
  • Attend breakdowns and carry out technical preventative maintenance and general service work
  • In the event of a breakdown, test the equipment/system and carry out fault finding and repairs.
  • Conduct overnight field trips to service breakdowns, maintenance and customer support
  • Provide Customer support (internal and external) for assigned equipment
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure the working environment is safe at all times
  • Contribute to the co-ordination, support and day to day running of the GD Service business team.  

 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Trade qualifications Cert III  (Fitter & Turner) or experience in a similar industry, or
  • Qualifications and experience in the motor mechanic or electro mechanical trade
  • Current Driver’s licence

 

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

  • Based in Gepps Cross, Adelaide, with field work across region
  • Regular travel required
  • Pre-employment medicals
  • Police Check

  • The ability to converse and communicate Technical and Product information to internal and external customers
  • Intermediate computer skills.
