Job Summary

In line with the company’s strategy, the Project Manager is the guarantor of economic, human and technical business management.

From the receipt of the order until its full payment by customers, he/she ensures the coordination and execution of internal and external activities necessary for the fulfillment of our commitments related to customer requests.

His/her action related to the management of the business must fix contractual delivery date of products and documentation, the achievement of the expected margin on the business, compliance with contractual requirements and compliance with the specifications. (payment date, approval deadline, notifications...).

He/she is attentive to customer satisfaction and promotes the customer dimension in your relationships and communications with other team members on a daily basis. 

 

Responsibilities

 

Participate in offer reviews before receiving customer orders

 

 

Receive, control and ensure the launch of the order:

• Organize kick-off meeting (client + internal)

• Review the order in relation to the technical specifications (products, specificity), commercial (price, deadline), financial (payment conditions, guarantee ...), logistics (packaging, transport, Incoterm) and legal.

• Record the order (in the ERP) and distribute it internally

• Develop the project schedule, analyze the risks and formalize the budget monitoring plant

 

 

Follow the case as it unfolds:

• Coordinate actions of the different internal services and other stakeholders

•  Do the critical analysis and validate the integration of customer comments/technical sheet on documents submitted for approval (plans, procedures, etc.)

• Ensure the follow-up of the documentary validation

• Manage customer change requests preserving margin and favorable execution conditions for the company (with support from internal and external services)

• Ensure the internal and external follow-up of order execution

• Prepare progress reports for our clients in the terms of the order

• Ensure the financial follow-up during the project (margin compliance and payment terms) until billing

• Organize inspections with the client, their representatives or specialized organizations

 

 

Ensure closure of the order

• Obtain shipment authorization from our client

• Coordinate the packaging and shipment of equipment in partnership with the logistics and shipping departments

• Review projects with the different contributors

 

In addition, the Project Manager also participates in the continuous improvement process by collecting and quantifying anomalies as well as establishing an action plan while measuring its impact.

 

He/she reports the near-accidents and follows safety rules in the factory.

 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Higher education in business management, commerce or technical field type mechanical.
  • 3 years of experience in industrial project management if possible in an international environment.
  • Mastery of project management principles.
  • Proficiency in English (B2 Linguaskill) and french.

 

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

  • Occasional trips - Ability and willingness to travel, as needed.
