Very frequent trips (between 50 and 75% of the time) to the northern region of France and Belgium. Occasional trips abroad.
Position Summary
PARTENAIR has been supporting its customers for more than 40 years in the treatment of compressed air and industrial fluids. This know-how is expressed through a wide range of compressed air products (compressed air filter, compressed air dryer, compressed air refrigerant, condensate treatment) and adaptable elements for filters of all brands. As far as industrial fluids are concerned, the PARTENAIR team supports you in the production of chilled water, vacuum, breathing air and nitrogen.
As part of the sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the customer relationship in the North of France region and Belgium.
You will ensure that customers and potential customers receive high-quality service and performance, representing Partenair in the best possible way and ensuring that all business opportunities are exploited. You will manage all after-sales service requirements and liaise with the technical and operational teams to provide customers with the service they need.
You will be responsible for achieving revenue and profitability objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retain existing customers:
- Build effective and long-lasting relationships with the main direct customers in the North of France (sectors 02, 27, 28, 59, 60, 62, 75, 76, 78, 80, 91, 92, 93 and 95) and in Belgium and internal teams to ensure loyalty to Partenair products.
- Call and visit customers and prospects on an ongoing basis, in order to develop and maintain sales opportunities.
- Identify and develop new markets:
- Analyze the regional market potential for the development of new products and applications
- Approach prospects of potential new end-users and best conduct the closing of orders (directly or through distribution)
- Coordinate with all local and regional colleagues to develop strong joint action
- Inform, advise and train customers and prospects :
- Provide customers with advice and assistance for the installation and use of equipment
- Promote all Partenair products and services by organizing and executing distributor/customer activities, such as presentations, seminars and training sessions
- Monitor your performance and guarantee the results of our partners:
- Update the customer relationship management tool (Sales Force), deal tracking, pipeline, and standard reporting.
- Review sales statistics with the sales manager;
- Produce a weekly report to your hierarchy on all business topics
Basic Qualifications
- You have completed a training course or diploma with a technical background and have experience in the sale of technical components or systems
- You have at least 5 years' professional experience in a comparable position.
- Fluency in French and English. Knowledge of Dutch/Flemish would be a considerable asset.

Travel and Work Arrangements/Requirements
- Very frequent business trips (between 50 and 75% of the time)
- This position can be based in France or Belgium.
