Your Job

The Product Manager is responsible for all elements of Product Management and will focus on delivering a detailed product strategy to achieve significant profitable growth within our Ingersoll Rand vacuum pump segment with focus on the core products of Elmo Rietschle. This will require proactive cross-functional collaboration and significant customer interface.

This role is considered a valuable member of the Product Management Team, and the individual must have vision, drive, and interpersonal skills to succeed in a growth environment.    

Responsibilities

  • Manage, sustain and develop current product range
  • Develop and execute effective product strategies for vacuum pump product range within our key markets, providing the required level of competitor analysis, market analysis and application information to identify short-, medium- and long-term business opportunities
  • Manage the product portfolio through the complete product life cycle
  • Analysis of the current product line through the product life cycle. Monitoring costs, profitability, sales volumes and market share and identifying activities to provide growth
  • Ensuring the products development strategy meets the needs of our customers, whilst maximizing profitability
  • Define the product vision, product roadmap, product positioning and pricing structure
  • Support the marketing activities and ensure appropriate marketing materials, customer communication and training programmes are available to support our growth plans
  • Working with the regional sales structure, ensure we drive sales growth and improved profitability

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in Product Management, including project management skills.
  • Work Experience of 5 years+ is preferred
  • High level of commercial awareness
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. English and German required

 

  • Data analytics and metrics management skills
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to solve problems and a “can do” attitude
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, autonomous, diverse, and evolving work environment
  • Strong Drive for results and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines & achieve targets

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

  • Hybrid – Travel + Site
  • Site based, with possibility of working from home, flexible working hours, 15% travel
