Job Summary

In true technical support, you are responsible for carrying out, organizing and controlling maintenance operations (expertise, repairs, installations and commissioning). You carry out these missions in the workshop (Saint-Quentin-Fallavier site or at customer sites, in France and abroad, on equipment marketed by the Loading Arms Division of Emco Wheaton.

You respect legal and internal security rules.

You provide a prevention, information and recommendations service to customers.

This position requires availability for frequent travel throughout France and abroad.

Position based between Paris and Lille.

 

Responsibilities

• Carry out expert maintenance or repair actions at customer sites, complying with Ingersoll Rand safety rules and those in application on customer sites (Prevention Plan);

• Intervene for simple urgent or non-urgent repairs;

• Carry out preventive and curative maintenance operations;

• Ensure the monitoring of operations carried out by external service providers, at the request of the end customer or other request, for example during operations requiring heavy resources;

• Inspect equipment, establish repair quotes and intervene for repair or improvement;

• Provide technical support by telephone to customers regarding requests for spare parts, questions asked or problems encountered;

• Provide technical support for the customer in the operation of the product;

• Apply internal procedures during interventions;

• Control, assess and quantify the repair of equipment returned by customers and carry it out following the customer's agreement;

• Propose interventions, spare parts or equipment if the opportunity arises during the interventions;

• Manage and monitor construction sites and interventions with the internal team, subcontractors and clients (transversal management)

• Provide technical training on our products to customers (control of the product range);

• Write intervention reports with the references of the loading arms, product specifications to ensure orders for replacement parts are taken and a good understanding of malfunctions.

 

Basic Qualifications

• The position requires knowledge of BTS industrial maintenance level, CAP Mechanic or electromechanic

• N1 electrical and chemical risk authorizations, CACES Nacelle

•Intermediate English

•Driving license

Travel and work arrangements/requirements

80% travel on national and foreign territory

20% in workshop in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier

Key competencies

• In-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanics and pneumatics and notion of hydraulics

• 3/5 years and skills or experience in the field of petroleum maintenance
