Job Summary

Mechanical or Electrical Project Engineer Position, working within a multi-discipline team in a busy Projects Sales, Service and Installation Office.

Responsibilities

• Tender Documents Review
• Equipment specifying and quotation building
• Project Costing
• Subcontractor management including specifying scopes for tendering
• Project fulfilment
• Project Documentation management and creation
• Customer Testing and collaboration with Technicians

Basic Qualifications

• An HND or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• AutoCad advantageous
• Driving Licence

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Mostly site based, but with flexibility depending on Project Status. All projects are fulfilled from the Aberdeen Office, where package building and testing occurs.

• Proficiency in interpreting technical documents and effectively conveying information to stakeholders.
• Strong mathematical aptitude applicable to practical scenarios.
• Strong interpersonal, project management, and selling skills.
• Ability to work independently with acute attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills complemented by strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Majority of work to be conducted at mb air systems, Aberdeen, requiring some time spent with potential customers, existing project customers and sub contractors.
• Compressed Air experience would be beneficial, but not mandatory
• Willingness to travel to customers and suppliers when required
• Strong technical, mechanical aptitude, possibly with hands-on mechanical experience.
• Possession of a valid driver's license due to some travel requirements.
