Job Summary

The post holder will be part of the Service team within the depot. They will play a key role in the organisation and completion of work scopes to ensure agreed financial budgets are met.  They are ultimately responsible for the scheduling of engineers jobs, seeing jobs from the quotation stage through to completion and supporting other colleagues within the depot to ensure targets are completed on time.

 

Responsibilities

  • Revenue- The post holder is responsible for ensuring their team is working effectively to deliver and where possible exceeding the budgeted service target for the depot.
  • Business relations- The post holder is responsible for building relationships with clients to ensure the company’s reputation is upheld with high quality service provided. The responsibility is shared by the Service team to ensure customers’ needs are met and secure reoccurring business.
  • Focal point- Main customer and supplier contact for any requests, breakdowns, orders etc. Also the focal point within the depot for colleagues in other departments.
  • Co-ordination- Creation of jobs from the quotation stage through to completion. Liaising with the sales and logistical teams to ensure that jobs/projects run efficiently and effectively. Quoting and placing orders for jobs, recommendations, supply only of spares etc.
  • Reporting- The post holder will be responsible for compiling and presenting a weekly service forecast for both invoice revenue and bookings. They are also responsible for arranging and communicating updates through weekly progress meetings directly to the Service Manager.
  • General Admin tasks- Purchase and supplier invoicing along with dealing with any queries etc. Also, receipting in and despatching of goods.
