Location: Delhi/ Naroda
Reporting To: Inside Sales Leader
Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inside Sales Specialist to support the sales organization in managing enquiries, leads, SFA updates, order booking support, distributor coordination, and sales process compliance.
The role will work closely with Account Managers, distributors, finance, customer service, Order Management and internal operations teams to ensure smooth execution of sales support activities from lead qualification to quote submission, order booking, invoicing, and shipment support.
The ideal candidate should have strong coordination skills, working knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce, good commercial understanding, and the ability to manage multiple operational requests within defined turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Support & Account Manager Assistance
- Provide day-to-day sales support to Account Managers for customer enquiries, order updates, lead follow-ups, and documentation requirements.
- Support Account Managers in managing customer requests related to quotations, proforma invoices, vendor registration, customer code creation, and order booking.
- Assist in handling SPR requests, SDN, RMA, OMT preparation, and other sales process documentation.
- Support the sales team during month-end activities related to bookings, invoicing, shipments, and order closure.
- Help Account Managers with manual Proforma Invoices and AMT-related requirements.
2. Lead Management & Sales Pipeline Governance
- Monitor distributors and Account Managers to ensure timely and proper management of all assigned leads.
- Drive conversion of Tech Leads, Stalled Leads, Demand Generation Leads, and NPS Score in coordination with Account Managers.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure leads are contacted, qualified, updated, and progressed in the system.
- Regularly review lead mapping and ensure accuracy on a quarterly basis.
- Identify gaps in lead ownership, qualification, and closure, and escalate where required.
3. CRM Management – Salesforce
- Manage and maintain Customer, Lead and Opportunity data accuracy in Salesforce.
- Conduct weekly reviews with Account Managers to review:
- Pipeline progress
- Past-due opportunities
- Open leads
- Opportunity values
- Account mapping
- Account Manager ownership
- Ensure all opportunities have accurate values, stages, close dates, and account mappings.
- Support Account Managers in improving CRM discipline and sales pipeline visibility.
- Track CRM hygiene and highlight gaps to sales leadership.
4. Order Booking & Commercial Support
- Provide support for enquiry and order booking processes.
- Perform primary checks for clean order processing before order submission.
- Coordinate for order book updates and ensure timely communication with internal stakeholders.
- Support preparation and submission of offers and quotations, especially for parts-related business.
- Assist in managing URN generation – Unique Reference Number requirements.
- Support in Connectivity and Share of Entitlement processes where applicable.
- Coordinate with relevant teams for order-related clarifications, approvals, and documentation.
5. Distributor & Customer Support Activities
- Support customer code generation and coordinate required approvals.
- Manage vendor registration documentation and follow-up with customers/internal teams.
- Coordinate Bank Guarantee requests and track turnaround time.
- Support distributors and customers with required commercial documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication to distributors and Account Managers.
6. Sales Process, Compliance & Documentation
- Support CCN enrichment requests and assist the sales team with PRLs.
- Ensure documentation completeness for sales orders and customer-related processes.
- Track requests such as SPR, SDN, RMA, OMT, URN, PI, and vendor registration to closure.
- Maintain records and trackers for operational activities, pending actions, and SLA/TAT compliance.
- Escalate delays, missing documents, or process gaps to relevant stakeholders.
Key Deliverables
The role will be measured on the following outcomes:
- Timely support to Account Managers and distributors.
- Accuracy of CRM data and lead mapping.
- Reduction in past-due opportunities and open leads.
- Improved lead qualification and conversion.
- Timely preparation of quotes, offers, Proforma Invoices, and order documentation.
- Improved order booking hygiene and clean order submission.
- Timely completion of vendor registration, customer code generation, and Bank Guarantee requests.
- Effective support during month-end bookings, invoicing, and shipments.
Required Skills & Competencies
Functional Skills
- Sales operations and sales support experience.
- Working knowledge of CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
- Understanding of lead management, pipeline tracking, and opportunity management.
- Basic commercial knowledge including quotations, Proforma Invoices, order booking, invoicing, and shipment coordination.
- Good understanding of distributor and customer support processes.
- Strong documentation and data management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

Qualification & Experience
Education
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Up-to 10 years of experience in sales operations, inside sales support, commercial operations, order management, or distributor support.
- Experience working with sales teams, Account Managers, and distributors is preferred.
- Prior experience with Salesforce or any CRM platform is highly desirable.
- Experience in industrial, engineering, manufacturing, technology, or B2B sales environment will be an advantage.
