Job & Division Summary: 

We are hiring an Assistant Product Manager to contribute to global growth strategy of our Material Handling Business Unit.

In this role, you will work closely with the Global Senior Product Manager on a variety of strategic initiatives, including New Product Development, In-Line Product Management, and Pricing Strategy

You will also collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams—Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Operations, and Data Management—to ensure seamless execution and deliver value across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-launch phase by conducting market research and competitive analysis to gauge commercial opportunities for new products
• Contribute to the development of technical specifications for new products and assist in planning and executing upcoming launches
• Help create marketing materials, including brochures, product guides, social media posts, and presentations, to effectively communicate product value
• Monitor performance and manage the product lifecycle for the current SKU portfolio
• Collaborate on pricing strategies and price revision implementation
• Execute in a timely manner all tactical business needs related to product, P&L maintenance
• Take on additional assignments as needed for the business and personal developmental needs
• Identify and cultivate distributor & end-user relationships for product research and field testing
• Summarize and communicate Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback to project stakeholders

Mandatory Skills

• Experience with customized / configured-to-order products
• Strong technical/mechanical knowledge
• Ability to travel internationally, including multi-day overnight travel
• Fluent in English (language of work)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working in a collaborative team environment
• Self-starter and problem-solver who can identify and resolve process constraints; own results
• Effective project management, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to multitask and manage several milestones simultaneously
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
• Experience with ERP Systems (Oracle) and BI Tools (Qlik, Tableau, etc.)

Qualifications

• 4-year degree, preferably in Business or Engineering
• 5+ year work experience in industrial product design, sales/marketing or product management
