Job & Division Summary:
This role would provide day-to-day finance systems and accounting process support for global finance users across SAP, Oracle R12, Blackline with month-end and year-end close activities, maintain finance master data, support user access requests, help resolve basic business user issues, and prepare documentation required for controls and audit support.
Responsibilities
-
Support finance system administration activities such as user access requests, basic profile updates, entity setup support, and finance master data maintenance.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close tasks including period open/close support, close calendar updates, interface checks, report loads, journal/error reviews, and basic follow-up with finance teams.
• Maintain and validate finance master data such as GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, mappings, and account extensions under guidance from senior finance team members.
• Support Blackline activities including TB and FX loads, account assignment updates, reconciliation status checks, user maintenance, and preparation of basic status reports.
• Monitor and respond to finance support requests, and ad-hoc business questions, escalating complex technical or process issues when needed.
• Prepare supporting evidence for controls, access reviews, audit requests, and compliance documentation with direction from senior finance or controls stakeholders.
• Prepare user instructions, process notes, simple reports, and stakeholder updates to support daily finance operations.
Mandatory Requirements

3 - 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, shared services, or finance systems support.
• Basic understanding of accounting processes and exposure to ERP or finance tools such as SAP, Oracle, Blackline, or similar systems.
• Good analytical skills with willingness to investigate issues, follow established procedures, and seek guidance when needed.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data, master data, user access, and close-related tasks.
• Customer-service mindset with clear and professional communication to finance users, managers, IT support teams, and auditors.
• Ability to organize daily tasks, meet recurring finance deadlines, and balance support tickets with close-related activities.
• Awareness of documentation, internal controls, and confidentiality when handling financial and user access data.
• Interest in learning finance processes and contributing to small process improvements, documentation updates, and user training material.
• Ability to collaborate with global finance and support teams in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Willingness to occasionally adjust working hours to support global finance deadlines or communication with other regions.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
This position is based in Bangalore, India, with a hybrid work arrangement and minimal anticipated travel.
