Job & Division Summary: 

The Oracle ERP Functional Analyst will be an integral member of the Oracle Applications team working with locations around the world to design, deliver and support business solutions on Oracle ERP in the areas of Order Management, Shipping and Advanced Pricing. 

The candidate will have significant, demonstratable Oracle ERP skills along with global project delivery and operational experience. Ideally the candidate will have some experience in leading moderate size projects.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyse business needs, conduct requirement gathering, and define scope and objectives for related Oracle processes
  • Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through Oracle ERP module configuration or development (as appropriate)
  • Prepare detailed design functional documentation to deliver solutions in line with business expectations
  • Clearly communicate business requirements to technical teams and support development through unit testing
  • Complete testing of both existing and new functionality, and support business user in UAT test cycles to ensure system validation before implementing in production
  • Provide escalation point for resolving complex Oracle system incidents and engage other teams to find a timely resolution
  • Follow best practice Change Management processes and ensure all related documentation is maintained
  • Liaise with business teams and lead delivery of projects that fall within Oracle Order Management areas of expertise

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills with ability to clearly explain complex topics related to ERP
  • Competent in SQL developer with knowledge of key Oracle DB tables
  • Able to keep delivery deadlines and meet commitments
  • Skilled in asking probing questions to understand customer operations & requirements
  • Uses change as an opportunity to innovate and develop new, better ways of working

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree level education and significant related experience, preferably in Oracle implementation or senior support role.
  • Seven plus year’s experience using, supporting, or deploying Oracle
  • Order Management, Shipping & Advanced Pricing
  • Working knowledge of EDI would be considered a plus
  • Also be of benefit to have good knowledge of other modules of Oracle such as Inventory, Purchasing and Manufacturing.
  • Experience with Oracle R12, R11i ERPs
  • Fluency in English required, and one or more additional language(s) a plu

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Flexible working, work from home or hybrid depending on location, (role may involve some infrequent travel outside of India in support of projects)
