Job Summary
The SAP COE India Lead will play a pivotal role in managing a team in a matrix format to support projects across the Americas, EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa), and APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions. This role will take primary responsibility for defining and executing the global data migration strategy, ensuring seamless transitions and integrations. This is a system hands-on role that requires collaboration with cross-streams across geographies in simplifying ERP system landscapes from legacy into SAP ECC and establishing the SAP S/4HANA journey for the enterprise. This role reports to the Director, Global SAP COE.  

 

Responsibilities 
•    Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SAP professionals in a matrix organization, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
•    Coordinate with regional delivery managers across the globe to align SAP team efforts and ensure consistent delivery of SAP services and support.
•    Support SAP projects across the Americas, EMEIA, and APAC regions, ensuring alignment with global business objectives.
•    Take primary responsibility for global data migration initiatives, defining migration strategies and methodologies.
•    Conduct thorough stakeholder analysis and develop communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the transformation process.
•    Collaborate with training teams to develop comprehensive training materials and sessions.
•    Support the delivery leaders to interview, finalize, and allocate external contractors and internal resources, ensuring the right skills are available to meet project demands.
•    Develop client relationships and share best practices across the organization.
•    Maintain knowledge of new technologies to support business strategies.
•    Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.

 

Basic Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; MBA preferred.

•    Minimum fifteen years of SAP implementation experience for large global enterprises.

•    Proven track record in manufacturing industry, including SAP S4 transformation.
•    Strong interpersonal skills and experience in building and managing diverse and global teams.
•    Extensive knowledge of IT governance, operations, and security practices.
•    Knowledge and demonstrated experience in supporting opportunity and business case development, business process re-engineering, organizational change management, transition planning, system development lifecycles, program/project management and fielding of business applications in a large-scale enterprise with complex organizational and IT structures.
•    Business process knowledge in manufacturing industry – Plan, Make, Purchasing, Logistics, Sales, Service, EWM and Finance.  

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
This role requires 4 days in the office, and 25% global travel
