Job & Division Summary: 

PLC Programming and Electrical and Instrumentation support for Bioprocessing systems of Ingersoll Rand.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical and Instrumentation support for market leading Bioprocessing systems for biopharmaceutical, Pharmaceutical, medical devices and aerospace markets.
  • Work with project partners located in North America and UK/Europe to understand project requirements and execute with highest standards, On time Delivery and First Pass yield.
  • Develop project tracking mechanisms and create project plans for each project in alignment with master schedule developed by project partners. 

Mandatory Skills

  • Expertise in Design, Program and Configuring Siemens S7 & TIA portal to develop PLC programming using Ladder and Function Blocks. 5+ Years of hands-on Experience required.
  • Expertise in Developing HMI, SCADA screens for Operator interactions. 5+ Years of hands-on Experience required.
  • 4+ years of Experience in Developing Debugging, testing, and validating PLC logics
  • 3+ Experience in integrating Third party devices using Profibus, Modbus, HART and FF communication protocols.
  • 3+Experience in developing Logic diagrams starting from Cause & Effect Matrix and Control Narrative

Desired skills:

  • Experience in developing DCS programming using Function Blocks and Sequential function charts.
  • Experience in Selecting Field Instruments and PLC Processors and IO cards.
  • Remotely Analyzing PLC system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
  • Experience in design of P&ID drawings, Electrical schematic, wiring diagram preparation, instrument and JBs Layout Drawing including cable trays.

Basic Qualifications

Experience:-  

  • Masters / bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation in relevant field.
