Job & Division Summary: 

The Test Automation Developer at Ingersoll Rand will play a crucial role in the company's digital transformation journey by managing test automation activities for various applications. This position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage to enhance software quality and functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca to ensure software quality and functionality.
  • Update and maintain existing test scripts to accommodate changes in the application or new features.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine test strategies and plans based on project requirements and objectives.
  • Analyze application requirements and design automated test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Execute automated test scripts in various test environments and monitor their execution.
  • Define and develop test strategies, test plans, KPIs, metrics, defect management, and reporting.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand application changes and requirements.
  • Provide training and support to team members on Tricentis Tosca and best practices for test automation.
  • Configure and manage Tricentis TOSCA and qTest tools to ensure optimal performance and integration.

  • Able to keep delivery deadlines and meet commitments
  • Skilled in asking probing questions to understand customer operations & requirements
  • Uses change as an opportunity to innovate and develop new, better ways of working

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT or Quality Assurance.
  • Previous automation experience utilizing Tricentis TOSCA & qTest tools.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Apps & SAP ERP Testing using TOSCA.
  • Good communication skills.

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

  • Flexible working on hybrid depending (role may involve some infrequent travel outside of India in support of projects)
