Job Summary
This position focuses on identifying and analyzing business needs, and delivering solutions pertaining to IT applications and information systems, gathering and documenting requirements, defining scope and delivery plans for IT systems and applications integrated with business processes, data, people and other IT services (i.e., “an application system”), and developing and/or overseeing the development and implementation of solutions to meet business needs.
It encompasses analysis and documentation of business requirements, identification of process improvement opportunities, overseeing application support to ERPs and boundary systems under IT LAC responsibility, and management of small to medium complexity IT projects with the goal of helping ensure business continuity and maximize efficiency and productivity on processes supported by IT applications.
Responsabilities
- Understanding business needs, detailing requirements, and monitoring the development, testing, and implementation of system solutions.
- Translating user problems and demands to technical teams, ensuring clarity between what the business requires and what will be delivered.
- Suggesting process improvements using ERP resources and other systems, as well as monitoring software updates and changes.
- Helping to create and organize test plans for new functionalities and system adjustments, together with users and those responsible for the processes.
- Supporting users in resolving problems, registering incidents, escalating issues when necessary, and following up until final resolution.
- Managing suppliers involved in system support and development, overseeing service levels, costs, and quality of deliverables.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficient in English (spoken) – verifiable
- Experience in Systems Analysis and Design / Business Process Management, providing application support and/or performing functional analysis, design, and implementations.
- Proven experience in business process mapping.
- Knowledge and experience with SAP ECC MM and/or PP.
- Proven experience in Project Management.
Desired Requirements
- Fluent Spanish (spoken) – desirable
- Experience with TOTVS is a plus
- Knowledge of sales, inventory/warehouse management, and manufacturing processes (preferably in industrial sectors)
