Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for anyone who would like the freedom to design and deploy a digital strategy as a critical engine for growth in a hugely successful global industrial company. Our growing Process Flow Technologies (PFT) is looking for someone to take our digital experience to new levels. The candidate will have freedom to operate entrepreneurially, build a new Digital Experience Team, and work with the wider Product Marketing Team to deliver your strategy with oversight from the PFT Demand Generation Director. This role will offer significant opportunities for broader leadership exposure and career development in Ingersoll Rand.

 

The right candidate will be able to combine great experience (preferably in a B2B sector) in creating demand with online marketing, ecommerce and delivering outstanding UX across a range of digital platforms to drive new customer acquisition, better customer retention and online revenue targets.

 

This role is critical to the organisation because it will provide our customers with a more effective online buying experience and increase our go to market effectiveness.

 

Scope of the role:

Reporting directly to the PFT Demand Generation Director, collaborating with the Marketing Managers, and liaising with Product Management and Sales Team, covering the PFT portfolio products, services and solutions in EMEA and India for our leading industrial technology brands you will responsible for:

 

  • User Experience Improvements - Improving the digital experience across all touch points and ensuring we maximise our potential ROI
  • Ecommerce – working with cross functional teams and agencies as required to develop and deliver an ecommerce strategy to increase online sales across new and existing ecommerce channels
  • Website – business unit site ownership for strategy/governance in coordination with the central web development team and our own product management and sales teams.  Evaluate and execute website development roadmaps and enhancement projects to improve the UX of all website within the PFT Division to:
    • Develop a comprehensive user journey experience improvement strategy
    • Outline key strategic keywords and achieve regular SERP improvements via a dedicated SEO strategies for brands and strategically important industries
    • Technical data is up to date
    • New product pages are available
    • Translation of content across core languages
    • Regionalisation of core market content
    • Managing web tool integrate such as Chat Bots
  • Social Media – working with the central social media team to develop and deliver a comprehensive social media strategy aligned to the overall business line strategy
  • PPC (SEA) – management of Google Advertising campaign, optimising campaigns to ensure continually improving lead generation and ROI
  • Channel Partner Support – working with our distributor network to offer advice and training to improve their digital CX
  • Digital Insights: Lead the identification and utilization of critical marketing insights in partnership with the marketing operations team.  Serve as subject matter expert for analysing trends and identifying opportunities to further optimize program performance.
  • Lead Management: Support marketing and sales to deliver profitable growth.  Utilize CRM systems metrics to drive visibility and ownership to ensure our customers have a positive experience and so as to maximize conversion from marketing programs
  • Team Leadership: opportunity to create new Digital Experience to cover the activities above

 

Professional Experience

  • >5 years’ experience in a digital support function driving sales. (Such as marketing, sales, e-commerce, IT/web). B2B experience is a plus but not a must have.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field with experience in web or digital marketing or related web development.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with a CMS/CRM/PIM solution, web optimization, email marketing, SEO/SEM, PPC, Google Analytics/web analytics, content marketing, and/or interactive advertising is a plus.
  • Position may require some travel to Europe.
  • English fluency is required. Additional languages a plus.
