Job Description:

 

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Sales Professional with a minimum of 15-20 years of experience in sales of rotary equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading sales efforts nationwide, leveraging extensive network and industry knowledge to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve sales objectives across India.

 

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

 

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients and market segments, to generate revenue and increase market presence.

 

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance and alignment with company goals.

 

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, leveraging insights to drive sales strategies and decision-making.

 

Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.

 

Budget Management: Ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and achieve financial targets.

 

Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for improvement.

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 15-20 years of progressive experience in sales of rotary equipment, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Handling Govt Tenders & knowing Consultants in field of Power, Steel, Water, Cement will be an added advantage.
  • Self-driving attitude & Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Solid understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India as required.
