Your task

  • Design, architecture and development of customer-centric cloud services in the area of Digital Twin, E-Commerce and Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT)/Industry 4.0
  • Together with your colleagues from the agile SCRUM team, you will take our cloud platform to the next level
  • Experimental prototyping of new digital services
  • Observation and evaluation of technology trends and developments on the market
  • Cross-functional cooperation with the specialist departments from R&D and IT in the Ingersoll-Rand Group
  • Technical coordination of external partners

 

The requirement

  • You have successfully completed your studies in computer science (or comparable), PhD is welcome, but not a must
  • You have profound knowledge in the design and development of modular, scalable microservice architectures and cloud platforms and feel at home in web development (especially backend with Java)
  • In addition, knowledge in the development and operation of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as well as with SQL and NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch and Python is desirable
  • Ideally experience in working according to agile methods (e.g. SCRUM)
  • Independent and structured way of working as well as distinct team orientation
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken
