About Us

Gardner Denver Transport provides equipment which efficiently transfers bulk material from road tankers and other vehicles. As global requirements advanced, we started developing into wider applications and we now produce equipment for alternative markets including specialised transport, on-board power systems for operating/powering other equipment, and bespoke electric compressor packages for e-mobility vehicles.

 

Within our Bradford facility we design, machine, assembly and install our entire Bulk Powder and Liquid Compressor range for Road Transport Vehicles. Providing our customers with the whole product life cycle is number one for us and with our mobile service engineers we offer from concept design, manufacture, installation and aftermarket support.


Job Summary

 

The purpose of the role is to support the Service Team and effectively co-ordinate the service repair work for the Bradford Service Engineers ensuring we maximise their time. The position works with all members of the Service Team along with other key internal stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

  • Raise Service Orders and issue to engineers via our electronic system
  • Follow up the repair with accurate completion of the job record through to invoicing
  • Maximise all sales opportunities and ensure a proactive approach is taken
  • Manage and monitor KPI’s for fleet on our own contracts and book in accordingly
  • Process engineers’ timesheets and monitor utilisation
  • Process parts and associated labour costs into our SAP system
  • Raise and process 3rd Party Purchase Orders
  • Process work orders on our customers portals

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Service type environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • SAP experience (Desirable)

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Fully site based, flexible working on a rota for early finish on a Friday.
