Within our Bradford facility we design, machine, assembly and install our entire Bulk Powder and Liquid Compressor range for Road Transport Vehicles. Providing our customers with the whole product life cycle is number one for us and with our mobile service engineers we offer from concept design, manufacture, installation and aftermarket support.
Job Summary
To provide on-site Service Engineer support for Arla Foods Aylesbury
Responsibilities
- Inspection and diagnosis of all vehicles and faults in service.
- Fit/Assemble components to all vehicle types.
- To carry out product testing in line with test specification requirements.
- Assistance to other Service Engineers or other team members as required.
- Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required within the scope of the role.
- The position works with all members of the Service organization and related supporting activities. It is responsible for complete, accurate and timely communications that relate to assisting the Service Department throughout the organization
- Work in a clean and tidy manner.
- Administration responsibilities with documentation, Job Sheets Calibrations and Service Sheets.
- Accurate processing of parts to ensure inventory remains 100%.
- Service Van / Vehicle is provided with the role with Company Card for Fuelling.
Basic Qualifications
- Time Served apprenticeship or HNC in Engineering or equivalent. Equivalent engineering experience or suitable training qualifications will be considered.
- Proven experience of working in a service, engineering or Transport environment.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Confident and effective communication with team members and customers.
- Diplomatic and proactive problem solver.
- Team player in a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to travel both in UK, if required.
- Basic Electrical training.
- Willingness to work overtime as required and be flexible on start / finish times to suit the Customer’s needs.
- Willingness to learn all Gardner Denver products which enables the opportunity to have extra overtime and increase earning potential.

Training will be provided at the Head Office in Bradford and other areas of the UK so must be prepared to travel / stay away during integration to the team. (This is fully expensed so no cost to the individual)
