Job Summary

 

 The Pricing Analyst is responsible for executing and maintaining pricing activities within Ingersoll Rand’s systems and processes. The role ensures accurate and compliant price administration, supports commercial teams with timely and reliable pricing information, and ensures compliance with internal controls, documented procedures, and audit requirements. Working closely with Sales, Purchasing, and Finance stakeholders, the Pricing Analyst contributes to pricing accuracy, process efficiency, and policy compliance.

 

Responsibilities

 

 Pricing Administration & Execution

 

  • Set up and maintain list prices, customer prices, and discount conditions in SAP in accordance with approved pricing policies.
  • Execute mass pricing updates as required, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Administer annual price updates, ensuring completeness, correctness, and timely implementation across all relevant systems.

 

Monitoring, Analysis & Support

 

  • Review and analyse price deviation and discount reports to ensure alignment with established pricing guidelines and approval matrices.
  • Provide analytical support related to pricing structures, discount practices, deviations, and process compliance.
  • Support Sales and Purchasing teams by delivering timely and accurate responses to pricing-related inquiries and requests.

 

Compliance, Controls & Documentation

 

  • Maintain and execute SOX control activities related to pricing processes in full compliance with internal control requirements.
  • Ensure all pricing activities follow documented company policies, approval workflows, audit standards, and governance rules.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date process flow documentation for pricing-related procedures and controls.

 

Continuous Improvement

 

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within pricing operations.
  • Propose and support the implementation of enhancements to increase efficiency, accuracy, transparency, and pricing compliance.

 

Basic Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in pricing, commercial excellence, finance, or sales analytics. (experience in industrial, manufacturing, or engineered products strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of B2B pricing concepts: margin waterfall, contribution margin, value‑based pricing
  • Proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders without direct authority
  • Experience operating in regional or global matrix organisations
  • Advanced analytical skills; proficiency in Excel, BI tools (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau), and ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

 

Fully site based, flexible working, hybrid model, up to 50% home office

 

Key Competencies

 

  • Communicative English
  • 2+ years of experience in pricing, commercial excellence, finance, or sales analytics
  • Strong understanding of B2B pricing concepts
