Job Summary

 

The RtR Compensation Analyst is responsible for the accurate calculation, accrual, and reporting of employee commissions and incentive programs. This role ensures timely and precise payroll integration, supports modeling and estimation activities, and contributes to the financial integrity of related reporting. The analyst will also support headcount reporting and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain and improve workflows and systems.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Calculation of employee commissions and incentives, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
  • Preparation of the employee payroll files, statements, and guarantee documentation, ensuring alignment with compensation plans and employee updates.
  • Responsible for producing monthly sales performance/ booking reports for tracking quarterly and annual compensation plan quotas for each account manager and provide a visual gauge in performance to date.
  • Perform accruals of incentive and supplemental compensation as part of the monthly close
  • Preparation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring compliance with IR standard of internal control.
  • Function as Subject Matter Expert and liaison to Sales Leadership to address commission and incentive related questions and inquiries.
  • Maintain and enhance workflow processes for commissions, , and other tools, modifying these workflows for compensation changes to ensure proper calculations and reporting as needed.
  • Provide performance versus plan report outs and modeling/ analysis activities for commissions and incentives during compensation planning processes.
  • Ownership for headcount and overtime report processes, providing accurate and timely data to support our business partner
  • Process improvement initiatives and efficiency projects as required
  • Cross team partnership with Human Resources and Finance to administer plans in accordance with the Ingersoll Rand Sales Policy
  • Other ad-hoc activities as may be assigned

 

Basic Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 3 years relevant Financial analysis experience in a multinational company
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including: pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of articulating financial information to non-finance professionals.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high standards of financial accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to flex working hours to accommodate interaction with US-based teammates.
  • Availability for occasional international (US) travel as needed
  • Prior experience of working for a manager located remotely is preferable

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

 

Hybrid model, up to 50% home office
