A brilliant opportunity to join a local organisation, which operates on an international level and specialises in the innovative design, manufacture, supply and installation of energy efficient Compressed Air Purification Equipment.

Job Summary

As a warehouse operative you will be responsible for dealing with goods that come into the warehouse and stores and assist with the handling and despatch of all stock.  You will provide a cohesive and efficient warehouse/stores service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Goods in – quality checking deliveries and booking in goods onto the stock control system
  • Unpacking and placing all delivered stock items into their designated areas
  • Reporting any missing stock or variances within the stock control system to the Warehouse Manager
  • Preparing, Labelling and rebranding stock items
  • Shrink wrapping and palletising goods for despatch
  • To assist in the handling and dispatch of all stock (some jobs include delivering)
  • Administering all paperwork and delivery notes as per defined procedures
  • Some driving as and when required

Basic Qualifications

  • Driving license
  • FLT License desirable

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Fully site based

Key Competencies

  • Previous experience of working in a warehouse/stores environment
  • An understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent administration, written and communication skills
    Good IT Skills
  • A high level of organisational skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as a team player to tight deadlines
