Cost Controller

Responsibilities

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports including financial planning activities
  • Plant costing including standard cost set up & variance analysis
  • Oversee general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Maintain compliance with US GAAP & K GAAP standards as applicable.
  • Monitor and improve accounting processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Business Partnering with multiple parties (Regional finance in US and APAC, country finance director, plant manager)
  • People management (located in Busan and HwaSung)

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Plant costing experience at least 10~15 years
  • Possibly academic background of cost accounting in management and administration
  • Fluent English communication thru verbal and written
