PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Select components and develop designs based on the specifications required for New Product Development (NPD) projects.
  • Build and test designed products to verify and evaluate whether they meet required performance and specification requirements.
  • Once product performance has been validated, conduct certification testing and prepare all necessary production documentation to support the transition to mass production.
  • Manage and support the product release process and provide ongoing technical support for production products.
  • Perform technical management and troubleshooting activities for products in production.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction projects to enhance product competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure successful product implementation.
  • Analyze product performance data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and reliability improvement.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Refrigeration Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in the development of refrigeration cycle-based products, with 3 or more years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD design software such as Autodesk Inventor or PTC Creo preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
  • Experience in pressure vessel design is preferred.
  • Experience with refrigeration system certification and compliance testing is preferred.
  • Understanding of refrigeration cycles, HVAC&R systems, and related industry standards is preferred.
