Job Summary

The ideal candidate has a university degree in managerial engineering or equivalent with the will to undertake a path of growth in the field of production engineering within a structured reality strongly focused on the search for excellence in production processes.

Reporting directly to the COO and interfacing mainly with the managers in the production departments, the Opex Specialist will follow the progress of continuous improvement processes, identifying the most suitable strategic solutions in order to achieve the company's efficiency and effectiveness objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis and verification of factory layout and mapping of production processes
  • Analysis of stocks and rotation indexes
  • Verification of material supply routes
  • Collaboration with external consultants to design the relayout of production departments
  • Designing continuous improvement paths
  • Identifying training paths aimed at implementing the culture of continuous improvement
  • Implementation of a Visual Management system
  • Analysis of performance indices and preparation of related reports

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Previous experience of at least three years in a similar role or position in manufacturing sectors or consulting companies
  • Preferable educational background in management engineering or specific training on the job
  • Good knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (5S, Skill Matrix, Lean Tools)
  • Professional English knowledge
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Knowledge, in particular Excel at an advanced level
  • Driving license
