Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled JD Edwards (JDE) CNC Administrator, experienced in EnterpriseOne 9.2 release to promote system changes, configure, perform system administration, and support multiple instances of JD Edwards environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in JDE CNC administration tools and a solid understanding of JD Edwards technical architecture and environment including Security, full cycle JDE implementation / migration / upgrade, hardware sizing, performance tuning, OS and DB administration etc.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform work associated with CNC/system administration, including installation, configuration, administration, support, and maintenance of multiple JD Edwards instances, especially JDE 9.2 and associated databases.
  • Ensure the uptime, performance, and resource availability of the JDE instances and databases and maintaining the integrations/connections to 3rd party systems with minimum disruption to business.
  • Provide support for application security, including user administration, role administration, and customer services. Identify and resolve user performance issues. Update and implement user security and roles within application security based on functional documents from the project/support team and implement best practice controls.
  • Design, Install, Upgrade, Administer, Patch, Clone, Maintain and Monitor other integrated applications/databases, including performance tuning. Ensure the application systems are patched to the latest level.
  • Plan and coordinate activities with other Infrastructure and Application teams, including outage, upgrade, automation and patching.
  • Recommend and develop security measures to protect information against unauthorized modification or loss.
  • Adherence to SOX and SOD controls review and audit end user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Align segregation of duties and security profiles. Work with internal and external audit teams.
  • Create and maintain documentation on system configuration, processes, and procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Recognized expertise in JD Edwards CNC/ system administration typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
  • 4-10 years of experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC/system administration, with a minimum of 2 years of experience with EnterpriseOne 9.2.
  • Proficiency in JDE Upgrade / Migration / System administration activities such as Package Build, Deployment, Table Conversion, Installation of patches, ASU/ESUs, Server administration, User/Role Security, Performance tuning, hardware sizing and Data migration.
  • Strong knowledge of Operating Systems (Unix/Windows/AS400) and Databases (SQL / DB2 / Oracle) etc.
  • Familiarity with MS Azure servers and 3rd party software integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data migration and integration tools (e.g., EDI, BSSV, REST APIs).
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
  • JDE EnterpriseOne certification is a plus.
