Job Summary

Assemble and test products/systems before packaging to ship to customers.  Includes everything from receiving a work order, gathering parts, assembling products/systems, testing those products and then transacting the WO for the next step.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assemble raw materials and components to build the product(s) or system(s) 
  • To assist in the preparation of IIoT products, their labelling, packaging and dispatch 
  • To replenish stock and rotate stock 
  • To perform visual inspection and testing of finished products 
  • Ensure a high quality of service to the customer and adhere to Health and Safety requirements and company procedures 
  • To participate in the cleaning and preparation of equipment and supplies to maintain a clean and organized work area to maximise productivity 
  • Ensure adequate and appropriate stock of equipment and supplies to alert operations and procurement to shortages or issues 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of recent experience as a production technician/assembler or similar 
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision 
  • Proven ability as a fast-learner and self-starter with a high level of attention to detail 
  • Good verbal communication skills 
  • Experience with ERP systems in a production environment is preferred
