Position Overview:
We are looking for a Production Technician to perform the day-to-day tasks of preparation, assembly and testing of IIoT devices and systems. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, experience with electrical assemblies and testing, and will be keen to start a career in the Industrial space, as full training will be provided. This is a full-time position for a high growth company.
Major Responsibilities:

Assemble raw materials and components to build the product(s) or system(s)

To assist in the preparation of IIoT products, their labelling, packaging and dispatch

To replenish stock and rotate stock

To perform visual inspection and testing of finished products

Ensure a high quality of service to the customer and adhere to Health and Safety requirements and company procedures

To participate in the cleaning and preparation of equipment and supplies to maintain a clean and organized work area to maximise productivity

Ensure adequate and appropriate stock of equipment and supplies to alert operations and procurement to shortages or issues
Position Requirements:
-
2+ Years of recent experience as a production technician/assembler or similar

Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision

Proven ability as a fast-learner and self-starter with a high level of attention to detail

Good verbal communication skills

Experience with ERP systems in a production environment is preferred
Education Requirements:
-
Level 3 (or higher) HNC in Engineering / Manufacturing Operations, or similar/related field.
