Position Overview: 

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to install, service and support various systems in the natural gas industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the industry and be a self-starter with attention to detail. This is a full-time position for a high growth company. 

Major Responsibilities: 

• Work on ATEX equipment in the field 

• Commission and install new equipment on customer sites in compliance with industry best practices 

• Service systems in the field as a part of scheduled or emergency maintenance 

• Support customers in the UK in regards to the various systems and field issues 

• Ensure a high quality of service to the customer and adhere to Health and Safety requirements and company procedures 

• To participate in the cleaning and preparation of equipment and supplies to maintain a clean and organized work area to maximize productivity 

• On-Call phone support  

Position Requirements: 

• 2+ Years of recent experience as a field service technician or similar 

• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision 

• Proven ability as a fast-learner and self-starter with a high level of attention to detail 

• High level of mechanical and electrical aptitude  

• Good verbal communication skills 

• Experience with odorant is a plus 

• Experience with ERP systems in a production environment is a plus 

• Ability to understand and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, able to advise clients on the drawings and specifications. 

• Strong communication skills and excellent team working attributes. 

• Full driving license (maximum 3 points/no disqualifications). 

Education Requirements: 

• HNC / HND in either Electrical / Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or a related subject.
