Job Summary

Oversee end-to-end management of industrial refrigerant dryer and filter assembly orders, including production planning, scheduling coordination, resource allocation, and progress tracking to ensure on-time order delivery.

 

Responsibilities

  • Organise production team and on-site management in the assembly workshop, optimize allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient execution of production plans.
  • Understand entire production processes thoroughly, identify production bottlenecks, and propose improvement solutions. Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, quality, and other departments to resolve technical issues.
  • Promote and apply the application of Lean Production and quality management tools (e.g., 5S, 7-wastes etc) to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product quality compliance.
  • Serve as a cross-functional communication bridge and driver, coordinating with procurement, logistics, order management, and other teams to align order requirements and priorities with supply chain.
  • Manage production team staffing and performance, develop frontline management personnel, and enhance team execution capabilities.
  • Maintain good communication and relationship with factory workers through regular work place meeting and continuous interaction.
  • Any tasks or responsibilities assigned by manager

 

 

Key Competencies/Experience

  • At least 5 years professional experience in production function and 2 years on a managerial position, with familiarity in production planning and on-site scheduling. Experience in the air conditioning/refrigerant dryer industry is preferred.
  • Practical experience in Lean Production, quality management, or cost control projects.
  • Proficiency in production process optimization and efficiency improvement methods, with the ability to independently analyse production data and develop improvement measures.
  • Familiarity with air conditioning/refrigerant dryer structure and assembly processes (e.g., brazing, refrigeration systems, electrical assembly) is preferred.
  • Strong cross-departmental coordination and team management abilities, adaptable to a fast-paced production environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and resilience, with the ability to respond quickly to unexpected production issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communicator, able to communicate to internal and external audiences
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked changing environment
  • Computer proficient with ERP and Microsoft Office applications
