Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and strong expertise in CNC, VMC, and HMC machine maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of machine controllers, PLC systems, ladder logic, machine parameters, troubleshooting, predictive maintenance practices, maintenance KPIs, and Integrated Management Systems (IMS). The role requires ensuring high machine availability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC, and HMC machines.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, PLC, control, and machine-related issues.
  • Analyze and modify PLC ladder logic when required to resolve machine faults.
  • Manage machine controller parameters, backups, restoration, and optimization.
  • Ensure machine availability and reliability to meet production targets.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for repetitive machine breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor machine health through predictive maintenance techniques and condition monitoring.
  • Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
  • Track and report maintenance KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, machine uptime, downtime, and maintenance costs.
  • Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with IMS requirements, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen initiatives.
  • Maintain proper spare parts inventory and support procurement planning.
  • Assist in machine installation, commissioning, relocation, and upgrades.
  • Prepare maintenance reports and presentations using MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Additional certifications in PLC, CNC Controllers, Industrial Automation, or Maintenance Management are preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in CNC/VMC/HMC machine maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Hands-on experience with machine commissioning and troubleshooting.
