Job Summary

 

We are looking for a Project Engineer, responsible for managing industrial projects and supervising the works until their final reception at the customer's site. In collaboration with the commercial team, you will ensure the success of the assigned industrial projects. In addition, you will provide technical assistance to various services such as commercial, energy efficiency, product development... You will also be responsible for managing complex offers in support of the sales team. You will report directly to the direct channel sales manager.

 

 

Responsibilities

- Analyze specifications and requirements of projects or installations together with the commercial responsible.

- Develop constructive solutions that minimize costs and simplify manufacturing without compromising technical specifications.

- Support sales representatives in the drafting of project proposals.

- Design and verify assembly, detail and installation drawings and various diagrams (CAD).

- Generate bills of materials associated with drawings and orders, and file them.

- Manage with the company's product managers the technical characteristics and documentary capabilities related to the projects.

Consult suppliers and subcontractors for the execution of specific jobs.

- Supervise subcontractors and ensure that they comply with technical specifications.

- Organize job follow-up meetings with subcontractors.

- Develop project execution schedules in collaboration with subcontractors and manufacturing units of the group.

- Attend meetings at customer's site with different parties involved.

- Manage technical documentation related to customer orders or internal developments.

- Update and manage technical documentation.

- Ensure compliance with project deadlines, costs and commercial margins.

 

 

Basic Qualifications

- Our ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering

- Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar position.

- Fluency in technical and fluent English.

- Knowledge in electrical, mechanical, general installation, civil engineering, hydraulics, pneumatics, procurement and services.

- Proficient in industrial design rules and applicable regulations.

- Proficient in CAD/CAE tools (2 and 3D) and computer software (MS Project, MS Office).

- Ability to manage projects according to customer specifications.

- Ensure industrial safety and compliance with regulations.

- Accompany technical and commercial staff in sales and execution processes.

- Evaluate technical solutions considering quality, costs and deadlines.

- Identify dimensional, functional and physical constraints.

- Participate in the drafting of specifications and bidding processes.

- Develop sketches and models using design software.

- Comply with quality standards.
