Job Overview:
Ingersoll Rand (NYSE: IR), a company with ~$7.7B in annual revenue and 22,000 employees worldwide, is seeking a Senior Manager, Global HR Transformation to help modernize how HR operates today while preparing the organization for AI-enabled HR capabilities for the future. This role is ideal for a delivery-oriented HR transformation leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys turning strategy into execution, and excels at partnering across HR, HR systems, and emerging technology teams. You will play a central role in shaping scalable global HR processes, advancing HR technology, and accelerating adoption of intelligent, data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive cross-functional HR initiatives that modernize HR processes, policies, and systems, with a strong focus on AI readiness, automation, and scalability.
- Translate HR strategy and AI ambition into clear roadmaps, project plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Deliver work with speed and discipline, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining quality and alignment.
- Work hand-in-hand with the HR Systems (HRIS) team to ensure HR platforms, data structures, and workflows support future AI-enabled use cases.
- Collaborate with the AI Enablement team to identify, prioritize, pilot, and scale AI opportunities that enhance HR efficiency, insight, and employee experience.
- Serve as a connector between HR, HRIS, IT, and AI teams to accelerate innovation while ensuring solutions are secure, sustainable, and practical.
- Partner with HR leaders and Centers of Excellence to assess current-state HR processes and design simplified, standardized future-state solutions.
- Support global consistency while accounting for regional and regulatory needs.
- Focus on improving data quality, reducing manual work, and enabling scalable service delivery.
- Lead change management efforts that prioritize adoption, usability, and real-world impact.
- Support training, communication, and enablement to help leaders and HR teams operate in new, more digital ways.
- Define and track KPIs related to efficiency, adoption, data quality, and AI readiness.
- Use insights and feedback to iterate quickly and continuously improve HR solutions.
- Stay informed on HR technology and AI trends, translating emerging capabilities into practical business applications.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of progressive project management experience, including 3+ years leading transformation or project-based initiatives.
- Strong project and program management capabilities with a demonstrated ability to deliver results in fast-moving environments.
- Hands-on experience partnering with HR Systems / HRIS teams on system implementation, enhancement, or optimization.
- Proven ability to collaborate across HR, IT, and data- or technology-focused teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Experience with Success Factors or similar enterprise HR platforms.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience in Human Resources preferred.
- Background in a large consulting firm’s Human Capital or HR practice is preferred.
