Financial Controller

We are looking for a talented hands-on Financial Controller to join the finance department. As a controller, you will be managing the day-to-day accounting and financial activities, reporting to the Head of Finance

This role plays a crucial part in our financial operations, ensuring accurate processing of accounting and supporting management functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

 

What You'll Do

· Own the monthly financial close process including the preparation of monthly reports and deliver actionable insights through variance analysis and reconciliations.

· Lead the daily operations of financial activities, working closely with the company’s bookkeeper.

· Prepare the statutory financial statements, tax return and other regulatory reports.

· Collaborate with key partners across the business including FP&A, Legal, HR, and other internal and external stakeholders.

· Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems

· Support ad-hoc financial and operational projects, including system/process improvements.

· Ensure compliance with internal controls and help improve accounting policies and processes

 

 

Who You Are

· At least 3 years of experience in a global hi-tech company or small Company.

· Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm.

· Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA.

· Deep knowledge of US GAAP, Israeli GAAP, and financial reporting.

· Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance and consolidated reporting.

· Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

· Experience with an ERP system (SAP, Priority, Hyperion).

· Proficient in Excel and hands-on ERP experience.

· Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, attention to detail with excellent time management abilities.

· Self-taught, able to lead processes and to work independently.
