GISC Finance Manager Summary: You are a key member of the Global Integrated Supply Chain finance team and will be responsible for coordinating, administering, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement for key management reporting deliverables for the global operations of the business unit. This role provides valuable insights to drive direct material, labor and overhead productivity and Net Working Capital improvements. This role will work closely with plant finance and operations teams to conduct various analyses on projects that includes item cost / benefits for make / buy decisions as well as manufacturing site strategy.
Essential functions (include, but are not limited to the following):
- Maintaining the Company’s financial policies and procedures by providing operational administrative direction to the plant accounting team
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements within deadline and analyzing the financial results.
- Supporting managers by providing actionable financial insights and financial analysis to all levels of management
- Reviewing working capital on a regular basis and monitor and improve the company’s cash flow
- Lead the annual standard cost setting process and provide support to the global operations team
- Facilitating the financial planning, forecasting and budgeting process for the global footprint
- Participating in the Company’s annual year-end audit with the independent auditors as needed
- Collaborating with procurement leaders to track actuals to goals for productivity projects
- Using Lean methodologies to support operational improvements
- Completing other adhoc analysis and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 4 year degree in Accounting or Finance required; advanced degree or chartered certification (CMA, CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7+ years cost accounting experience; experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is desired.
- GAAP: 7 yrs experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Excel and strong working knowledge of other Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, Access); SAP
- Strong analytical skills; experience working with large data sets is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple critical projects in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment
- Knowledge of the Lean Manufacturing methodology is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Must work well with internal and external customers
