Job Summary: To implement and drive growth of Distribution Sales (through Channel partners) of Power Tools & Industrial Lifting business in the assigned territory.

 

Location: Chennai / Coimbatore

 

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Account planning & execution using available CRM tools.
  2. Manage enquiry pipeline, booking forecast and generate new opportunities for profitable growth.
  3. Review channel partner’s performance on monthly basis & make necessary changes in plan as & when required to ensure consistent monthly order booking against the assigned target.
  4. Closely keep a track of dealer’s inventory levels, including spares parts to ensure it is aligned to our objectives to serve the Customer.
  5. Evaluate performance of existing Channel Partners & appoint new Channel Partners to cover the white spaces after proper territory mappingn.
  6. Develop, expand and sustain healthy and strategic relationship with Customers.
  7. Product Demo / trials sessions to be regularly conducted to promote our products.
  8. Understand customer requirement as per applications & arrange to submit the Techno-commercial proposals accordingly.
  9. Collaborate with internal teams of sales support, including customer experience team, Project Management and other cross functions in order to meet customers’ expectations.
  10. Explore business opportunities by identifying prospective customers and evaluating their position in the industry.
  11. Get information about competition initiatives and seek support from internal stakeholders to counter competition.
  12. Facilitate to resolve issues and improve Customer Satisfaction Experience.
  13. Support in account receivables

 

KPI's

 

  1. Achievement of Booking & Revenue AOP.
  2. Generate weekly enquiries by joint visit to customers with channel partner
  3. Increase in foot print expansion by adding new channel partners/customers and increase business from the existing customers.
  4. Ensure sufficient opportunities in pipeline, reduced forecast deviation & increased win rate.
  5. Review the hit rate of channel partners against submitted quotes every month. 
  6. Good at Data analysis.
  7. Month on month achievement of AOP target.

 

Skills Required


1. Bachelor or preferably Master in Mechanical /Mechatronics Engineering. MBA will be an added advantage.
2. 7 to 10 years relevant experience in selling Industrial products/projects & Indirect Sales (Channel Sales) especially in Motor Vehicle & General Industries.
3. Strong knowledge about the Customer spread in the territory. 

4. Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, presentation & communication skills
5. Result oriented & self-driven.
6. Proficient in MS Office : MS-Word , MS excel , PPT

7. Integrity and Ownership mindset

8. Willing to travel for around 50% of the time.
